Armenian-born artist and art conservator Levon Tokatlyan trained in Paris and London before coming to America in 1991. Now with thirty-five years of experience he has mastered the art of, among various other things, restoring paintings, murals and gold leaf framing at the highest levels. His work is masterful and undetectable even to the most discerning expert, and he has restored thousands of masterpieces during his long career.

Tokatlyan continues to refine his painterly technique through his active involvement in the art industry, where he stays up to date with state-ofthe-art methods of period art and object restoration. His vast expertise is documented in the highly acclaimed documentary, “Saving Art With Science,” and with his endorsement by Design Times.

He has conserved major works of all genres from such prestigious institutions as the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg; the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in Boston; the Harvard Art Museums; the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum; and the Old South Church of Boston, as well as from private collectors and art dealers across the globe.
